Really solid and creative! Loved the visual style and there's so much tension in the brief moment before you get your results.

Very engaging game loop, with a fitting sound design. I didn't like the art, but overall this is one of the top games I've seen in the jam.

Also kudos for making the visuals repetitive but not dull. That's usually quite hard.

By the way, I automatically rejected everyone with a broken vase and I was incorrect once. I guess they provide some backstory, or justification for it. This was one of the best moments in the game, because I realised I really need to pay attention.

Visual is very cool. The game is not so much scary as atmospheric and dynamic and i think its not necessary: the game needs stay such it be now. I really like it

It's very cool!Make a full version with more content and it really can hype!

Dude this was amazing. A lot of fun and even sometimes frustrating but fun!! It really does remind me of Chilla's art games in terms of the environment, characters, and ambiance. It had a really enjoyable anomaly factor to it as well like "I am Not Human" which is a game approach I have been really enjoying these days. I really like the pacing of the game too with the new tools we could use to identify the patient and with the shortened time that forced me to stay focused. It's frustrating though because you start to overthink about everything which I bet is what you were trying to accomplish with this game, which you very much achieved from me and my sister! For just two weeks, this a really fleshed out well done game , I could see this being a streamer favorite and I def would recommend even sending it out for them to play. This might be my favorite game so far within this jam!

Thanks a lot to both of you and for your extended comment (I count this one as 2 :D).

I was trying to recreate the kind of paranoia you have in theses games, yes, so I’m glad it worked on you!

I’ll probably not extend on this game in particular, but I’m definitely considering making a full game like this, same genre, just with more complexity and variety.

Thanks !

Very entertaining and unnerving, it is really well done. The close up inspection felt a bit overpowered though, it is too free to use, if the employee is a parasite then most of the time it will be evident without needing to do anything else.

Thanks !

True, it definitely needs balance. The catch was that you loose time using it but then I made the occurrences more frequent because players were not staying long enough :P

Cool concept, loved the weird uncanny faces! Also really big endeavor for a jam, cool job!

It seems to me that you can finish the game and safely release into Steam! I hope to see you in a popular one in the future.

Developer

Thanks! I wish :P

This game is really good in terms of pacing and mechanics introduced, I'm not the biggest fan of the real faces on characters but that is just taste. Love the sounds and music and the interaction with the employees are just so depressing, love it!

Developer(+1)

Thanks ! Totally understandable for the faces not being your taste (i mean just look at them) Glad you liked the interaction system, that’s a big part of the game!

Yes those models alone builds tension and raise the creep factor :P

I can genuinely see this game going on forever, it's very well done. You very strongly balance the fear of getting it wrong with the tension of the search. Nothing has happened to me yet when I go in close to inspect them, but I know it's gonna happen! And that alone has me tense! Wonderful work!

Thanks !

Haha, yes, as the boss states a the beginning : “It takes times, is not always reliable but can be really useful to confirm your thoughts” (= it’s random but powerful :D). Should probably have made it a little more frequent, though, because lots of players are under the impression nothing happens at all. It’s needed to spot the “physical anomalies” contradictions. When you inspect a parasite, it has more chance to trigger some… freaky behaviors :D
