I really love the visuals of the game and the art style <3

And I love the switch between both worlds and how the music changes — it’s really cool.
But I have some feedback (not sure if it’s useful or not):

  • Maybe add a run button.

  • When the game starts, sometimes the NPC blocks the door. I tried telling him to move or something, but eventually I managed to push him and get through the door.

  • Maybe add some instructions, like how to play and what the mission is. Also, it would be nice if the NPC animations changed while talking — like the “thinking” one being “…” and the ghost using its current thinking animation. At first, I thought the NPC was broken because of my question xD.

They’re small things and not necessary, but the game and art are really cool!

Very unique art style and loved the music. The ambience was immersive. I got stuck towards the end though (Ms Hunderson?)

Some constructive feedback:
The breathing sound effect was a bit too frequent
I would've liked if the background music stopped when the track sound played

But other than that, really well made. I especially like the knowledge gated progression style. How you are just dropped in and have to figure things out yourself. I liked that. Cheers!

Thank you so much for your kind words and detailed, helpful, & constructive feedback! Agree with both points - we want to add some variety to the sound effects and make them a little less frequent. Also would have loved to pause the background music when the track sound played. Those are both on our backlog.

We are considering expanding the game to include a battle mechanic when the player enters the ethereal realm, and a meta-layer progression system where the player can upgrade offensive and defensive equipment & skills. Can't wait to share more!

I loved the art, but woaw it is hard ! I think Dylan is too much a jerk or I have miss something because impossible to go past the trophy part... I tried giving him horse stuff, talk about the mixtape but he just slur at me and I got quite annoyed ^^ Would have loved to go further !

Thanks a million for your feedback and kind words! Dylan is definitely something :) ! He had a character arc after you play the mixtape in Bobby's Boombox - and even more when you bring him items from Samantha's room. I appreciate you taking the time to play and give us your feedback!
