I think this is the game that I saw that fits the theme of living environment most! The sound design is very good and unsettling, it sounds fleshy and the breathing sounds are also very fitting. I like how the environment reacts to you and your movement within it. I like how the walls move and sometimes move quickly when they spot you moving faster and how standing still helps you go undercover.

I found the addition of the holes to be redundant as we already have a floor obstacle, plus visually they are just a black circle so there could have been done more to make them seem like a flesh hole with some details. But overall the game is very good in its atmosphere and mood. Very strong! Sadly you are underrated I think because you don't have a web build which is quite important for visibility I think. but still you can be proud!

Thank you kindly for your words!

Yes the holes were rushed, I solo - joined the jam a bit late and the reactive meat shader + endgame cinematics took a good bunch of development time.

I hope you had a tense and fun run and that you enjoyed the game as much I enjoyed developing it.

I really did enjoy it, I see a lot of potential for a short meaty horror game on steam, with a little more content (and maybe a scary enemy O.O) Anyway if you could check out our game as well and leave your feedback it would mean a lot :D if it's not too much to ask. Thanks!

Very cool idea and great aesthetic! Unfortunately, I suffer from motion sickness so I could not complete the game with the camera shake. And as others have stated, the mechanics are a little unclear. Very unsettling though!

5/5 idea, environment, sound design... everything was really really good.
Dude, the phrase at the end had me playing again until I finished the game completely (not saying what it is to avoid spoilers, I honestly think this game must be played).
It made me feel really unconfortable and tense in a good way. Congrats, really great game!
One thing I want to mention, at the end, when I clicked the "Restart" button, I could not move the camera nor move, I think the game was stuck in the ui there, but not sure. Just a minor thing because I closed it and instantly opened the game again :)

Your words are amazing for a solo dev like me. I am making jams to improve my game design skills, the fact that you loved the idea is a great thing for me.

About the restart: it's a bug. I will solve it soon, probably the keyboard input was disabled from the cutscenes.

Thank you for your words and for playing the game!

I won, it was quite a challenge! I have to figure out the trick to win haha

I play game with few information "how to play", maybe for other players this can be an obstacle.

The living environment was amazing! congrats!

thank you! It was fun to script the meat shader.

I usually insert the bare minimum informations in how to play in horror games and i insert hidden mechanics that the player should figure on his own; I think that the tension and immersion are just greater if I do so, however I may have to balance this a bit and will come with experience.

Thank you again for your precious feedback, it's important for professional growth!

NO COMMENTS YET? The heck! The visuals for this are insane, definitely hit the gross factor, lol. I will be honest, I got stuck in the first room. I found the note and I tried to get through the web at the door, but I couldn't figure out how. I tried looking for a hidden exit as well but the walls kept squishing me, lol. I really want to see more!

Thanks!, Sorry to hear that you was stuck! Press " E " in front of the blob behind your starting point. The ganglion is composed by two parts, one that is the wall and not interactable, the other is smaller and with many tentacles- like roots. If you press E facing it, the web will dissolve and you will move forward! :D

The are two possible endings in the game so make the right choice.

OH! I'll give it another shot then, I didn't think to try that!
