This was a cute game! I really liked the mechanic of changing surfaces, felt pretty unique and cool.

I got stuck twice, though, I couldn't move no matter what I clicked, both times happened after exiting the "brainy stages". I also felt that the melee did nothing? But it maybe was my game skills haha.

There were also some parts where I felt that the foreground was obscuring the tentacles so I ended up taking damage by a hidden tentacle, but that could have been as designed.

Overall, I really liked the gameplay and the idea! With some polish, it can turn great.

Good work! But this is a horror jam,and this not a horror, fear factor in this jam is one of the rating criterias.

Slightly buggy, I crashed twice kinda– I don’t really know what to do but I can see the gameplay loop and I would like to see polished version of this :D!

Good work!~

Thanks, My original idea was that the parasite was inside a body, trying to infect organs until it reached the brain, that would’ve been shown in the intro cutscene. I couldn't work on the game the full two weeks so I had to scale it back, but I might continue  working on the game as I originally planned

I’ll be looking forward for the finished one :D!

Really interesting mechanics! I understood it after dying 4-5 times, but I liked the gameplay loop and beat the game. I think the game could have benefited from having the player shoot constantly if they hold left mouse (idk maybe it was meant to be that way but I had to keep clicking all game).
Overall, I missed the fear factor but the gameplay was nice.

Thanks! I didn't have enough time to perfect the mechanics as much as i wanted to but im happy you liked it.

Very hard to understand what's going on, I think you have to vary between melee and shooting to infect the cells?   I can't tell if I'm progressing unfortunately because I got hard-stuck on a bit of scenery after infecting several cells :(   Seems like could be quite a neat idea though, I like the alternate mechanics when on the different walls.  Maybe expand out the play area and add some like red blood cells to collect (infect) or something for a score?  Good job though, certainly looks pretty gross (in a good way)!

I was planning on adding some kind of a tutorial to explain that the melee was supposed to be used mostly to attack the brain when infecting but I didn't manage to make it in time although I should've probably just written it in the start also i thought of adding some kind of unique type of enemy that would give you an ability after killing a certain amount of it Overall the game would have probably had what you said it was missing if i could have worked on it the full 2 weeks but unfortunately i had a test to study for in the second week of the jam
