What can I say except: outstanding! ManlyBadassHero palyed your game and featured it in his channel so that is like one of the best compliments an indie horror dev can get. Congratulations! The art, the sounds, the story, the vibes, the depression and horror... They are all spot on. My only critique is that the game escalates too fast towards the horror but it's understandable for a jam game. If you ever continue development I am sure you will carefully craft its pace and make a gem! Also yeah different types of fish is the way to go for a little more variety. Good job and best luck to you! I will follow where you go with this!

WOW thank you so much!! YES, I WAS SUPER SUPRISED TO SEE MANLYBADASSHERO PLAY OUR GAME!! My sister and I are just starting to break into and learn more about the game dev world, so it really was an honor to have our first game acknowledged like this!!

With the recent positive response to the game, we definitely want to expand upon this game to make it a longer, polished and more fulfilling experience! It's great to have your support already thank you so much for your feedback and compliments!!

Wow...

This is honestly my favorite game from the jam. The pacing was really good, it seemed like there was enough time to let the story settle before switching up the mood. The visual change and sound design when the player gets overwhelmed about working made me very uncomfortable (good because its unnerving, something you would like to feel in psychological horror). I liked the animation when a new customer comes into the screen.

For cutting the fish, I think ti would be cool to have it cut by draging the mouse down instead of clicking. It was a bit hard to see the indicator to wrap the fish after cutting. I think it should be brighter or more visible in some way. It would be cool if there were different types fish to cut as well! Hope you both continue working on it after the jam! I would definitely play it again.

Played it again, and what can I say — the scary ending is so much better in my opinion! Great game!

I love the art and storytelling. You got the sounds right aswell.
Got the "continue working" ending first (after the obvious "lose your job" ending), it creeped me out,  well done. The ocean bit was quite relaxing. One of the best entries.

I got ending 3 the first time. Really beautiful art style! Cozy gameplay with an interesting story and a bit of variety thanks to cutting fish ;) Great jam entry.

Developer

You should def do the “continue working” ending that was especially enjoyable to make and has the most analog horror factor to it! >:) Thank you!!
