I walked around for a bit but couldn’t really interact with anything.. Maybe I was doing something wrong?

Hey, thanks for checking out the game and for using the walkthrough!
The reason it was probably so hard to figure out without a guide is because I developed the entire game in one intense, 12-hour session. Because of that, I never really had the chance to step away from the puzzles and then come back to them with fresh eyes later. The more I built, the less I revisited and tweaked the earlier parts.
So, it's very likely that some of the mechanics and puzzles ended up being more complicated or unclear than intended. This was one of my first more "ambitious" projects, something I tried to make less basic and more engaging without using tutorials, which I know ended up making it a bit confusing and rough around the edges. I'm hoping to take what I learned from this and create much better games in the future.
I really appreciate you giving it a try and sticking with it
It looked really good even if it is scary. The footsteps sound was a good addition. I wasn’t able to open any of the doors and go into the rooms and get to the puzzles. I would like a video guide so I could explore this interesting creative entry more deeply.
Oh, please reduce mouse sensitivity. I saw an option in the menu but I don’t think it had an effect.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm really glad you liked the atmosphere and the sound design.
You're right about the issues. The Web Build is a little buggy, which is probably why the sensitivity slider wasn't working. I'm making a video walkthrough today so you can explore all the puzzles and rooms you missed.
Thanks for playing!
This is a really good escape room / point & click. I wasn’t expecting that depth of gameplay. Great work on this. What I would change for game jams where people want to playtest many entries is to add an easy mode where the pickups start to shine after a few minutes, kind of like a delayed hint system designed to get people who enjoy the atmosphere and game-feel but aren’t really perceptive and get stuck like myself going.
Game looks good! Wish the gameplay was a little smoother. vedinad? haha
