What sets were used in your game from Craftpix.net? (links please)
The free medieval 3D people pack plays a very important role in our game, no spoilers! https://craftpix.net/freebies/free-medieval-3d-people-low-poly-models/

How does the game fit the theme?
Our game is a prime representation of "Cute and Dangerous"! You're working in THE sweet factory, Candy Hut, creating the cutest and sweetest... well, sweets! But be wary, the factory might not be as friendly or safe as you might think. Better keep an eye out!

How many people are on your team?

Extremely well polished and impressive level of detail. I loved the cute models for the treats and everything. I can't play horror games 🙈 so only got until the lights went out and had to stop, but I can appreciate that a lot of work went into this!

Very interesting concept. I myself have a heavy preference for games that do not explain themselves explicitly, but let the player explore the game world on their own; the first five minutes were perfect from this perspective. (But then I did find the book with the instructions, and that the objective was pretty explicitly spelled out.)

I would've loved for the game to go in a direction where "what is wrong with the cake" is very much unknown (i.e. it's not one of N known possible issues). E.g. "does it float in water"? without explicitly spelling out that a bucket of water can be used for experimenting. Well, I like that as an idea at least, not sure if it would make a good game :D

Jail time is great -- it's one of those elements where it steps out of the game and makes it feel more alive. Though I suppose it would get pretty old quickly, so a way to skip would be good. Or perhaps there was a gameplay reason to have that jail there, well I haven't figured that one out yet :D

What an amazing review! Thanks for playing and the feedback will be taken into account :)

For the scene with the Jail, you can skip it from the pause menu pressing the esc key. From there you can quit the game or restart the main scene to try again.

I think the menu is working but maybe there's a bug or something else... 🙉

However, it will be fixed and again, thanks for playing the whole game :)

Thank you for your thorough review! Our plan was to talk about the lore and introduce the extrange behaviour of the cakes with slower pacing through notes and gameplay events, but we didn't have time enough to develop it. We plan to keep developing this idea after the jam end, so you could follow this proyect to see future revisions.

The cake with worms is creepy, nice work XD

The game looks really cute. The controls feels a bit clumsy at the beginning but once you get the hang of it is good. Not sure I understood exactly what the game is about but had some fun with it.

Developer(+1)

We will continue soon with the development and we'll fix all the little mistakes, so all feedback is appreciated! Thankss!!

Didn’t click at first what to do or look for, but figured it out. Such a creepy creepy touch kudos! It doesn’t say anything in the description but scrolling the mouse to get a closer look really helped. Great job on getting all the aspects and tools and things done in such a short time, it’s really impressive

Really appreciate your words!

Thanks for playing! This is such a great feedback to improve :)

I Really loved this game, I did encounter a few bugs if the door is click two fast it can skip day 2. The game looped on day 3. also if you used the x-ray once you will be able to put the cup cake in and see whats in it without using the machine. Loved the horror it was really good. if your interested heres my playthrough it starts at 31:49.

Thanks for playing! I was amazing to see someone really involved in it!!! :)

5/5 would get attacked by desserts again.
Also, I think I encountered a bug where I kept getting stuck on day 3.  I also skipped right to it from day 1.
Great work on this game y'all!

Thank you for playing!
Yeah, I think we definitely have to take a look at that hahaha

Developer

Oh! That was an unexpected error. We've already taken note of it for the final version. Thanks for the feedback!

Super fun game i think the art style, gameplay is amazing. And a super cute idea haha. Though i had some problem with there not being fullscreen, i dont know if this is my fault and it 100% can be, but my cursor went of the game many times so i had to wait for it to load back in and stuff. But overall it was a great game :)

Developer(+2)

Thank you for your words!
I'll take the blame for that one, I was responsible for the builds and I was so sleep deprived I forgot changing the output resolution. I just added the fullscreen option on Itchio. It won't put the game on full res, but will at least capture the cursor properly. Sorry about that!

Developer

Thank you! :)  We'll fix all the little bugs and try to improve the game as much as we can.

That's the final cinematic for the bad ending... As the time pass, things happen. Thanks so much for playing! :)

fun game but i found the text to be too small , maybe add a Fullscreen button?

Developer(+1)

Hi Kodgame! The executable version looks amazing in fullscreen, but with so little time we couldn't get the browser version working with that option. However, thanks for playing and for the feedback! 😊 We'll take it into account!
