How does your submission fit the jam's theme?
The game is about playing retro games to save your dog. Complete with old timey crt effects.

I'm honestly kinda curious about what was the idea of the full game. What did you have in mind for it?
sumarising to you basically:
- this game is a mix between duckhunt and mario bros.
- the two games can interact with each other and you can switch between one and other whenever you want.
- the interaction stuff is like. When you pick a power up in mario, your gun changes in duckhunt. And vice versa
- you would be able to use the ducks you kill as a currency for progressing trough the game.
- we were thinking of introducing OTHER GAMES that would interact like a Zelda 1 clone.
It's kinda similar to that hack rom that fuses Zelda ALTP with Super Metroid and you need to play both games in order to progress the two.
Really solid concept for a game. I like the idea of taking the Duck Hunt / Super Mario Bros dual cart and making a literal crossover between the two! I would love to see a version with gameplay implemented at some point, because I think this has a really awesome framework here.
It's a shame there isn't more because this is pretty neat. I enjoyed clicking around in Ducker while jamming out to that sweet tune for a few minutes. The thumbnail definitely lured me in with that cute doggo!
