Martin when he is forced to make the same pixelart game over and over again by the voices in his head. (excellent work)
actually willow made the pixel art smh
There are some great bones here, and it's impressive how much you were able to get done in the 48-hour period! That being said, there's a lot of room for improvement too. My biggest complaint is that there's a lot of "hurry up and wait" gameplay mechanics, which don't feel great. There's also not a ton of room for strategic planning, since wave composition isn't known ahead of time and seems pretty sporadic.
I don't want to come off as overly critical though. The basic concept here is creative and interesting, and with a bit of polish, it could be a really great experience!
This blows my mind how much you got done in 3 days, very good job!
Please, I don't want to wait 50 minutes doing nothing for the next wave to show up. Give players something more to do than just harvest and fill up cannons. Or give a speedup button. Great visuals and aesthetic tho
this is what happens when you don't have time to playtest your own game lmao
I was being a bit harsh, I know time was limited, and it's really impressive how much you got done during the time you had. But if you decide to work more on this game as your next Sporelight project, that's one thing you can add!
Love the little guys. Could use some balancing and it would be nice if the cannons didn't fire until the little guys are in line of sight or have the bullets pass through objects. Very polished and cool
Also the cannons should probably focus on the ones that are furthest ahead
Extremely impressive given the time constraints. Good idea, good execution, very nice looking art, and super polished. Also cute and had a good charm to it.
