Very nice concept. I spent way too much time bargaining with pirates and navy men haha. I also liked how I can also just jump off the boat into the sea at any point lol.

It is a really fun concept and the first time I've felt conversational AI gameplay to not be boring. Very well done.

It does need a few tweaks though. Like:
Unable to play in fullscreen (things get clipped off)
The text input field box clips off if the input is longer than one line
Pressing tab also inputs the tab character
Sometimes the NPCs respond but text doesn't show up

But other than that, really well done matey. There is some true potential here.

Oh and some music here would've sealed the deal

Cheers!

Hey, Thank you so much for the feedback, I'm glad you liked the game.

For the Fulllscreen mode, i just tested it and it works fine, all the UIs are in the correct place

Could you please share a screenshot to see how's the UI clipping off?

For the "Sometimes the NPCs respond but text doesn't show up" it'll be fixed soon.

I'll add some music to the game too.

And again, Thank you so much for the feedback

I'm interacting with him here but the input field and the response message box have gotten clipped out. I suspect its got to do with resolution. Are you using a 16:9 display? I'm on a mac which I think is 21:9 or something?

The game has a resolution of 1980x1080 but it's flexible, it could fit in any resolution, I'll check this issue

Hey! Really cool game 😄 I was wondering where you got your 3D models — did you make them yourself or use any free packs/kits? I’d love to know for my own project 🙌

Thank you for the feedback.

I used the Pirates pack from Synty Studios
