Please explain the premise of your game, how it works and what to do.
Lonesome Lake: 1979.

After receiving disturbing images of lake life with un-explainable mutations, you make your way to the Apalachee trail, in search of some live specimens.
With any luck, you might be able to discover the cause of these phenomena, and potentially a way to replicate it.
Catch samples, take them back to your cabin, and research the mutations until you have a solution, or die trying.
But be careful, you are not the only thing out on the lake tonight.

TLDR:
Follow Objectives listed in the journal [TAB],
Mainly fishing and boat related,
Avoid creatures by making use of light and darkness.
Try to survive to the end to see how our scientist deals with his own horrors

Will you join one of our jams again?

Quite creepy, I really liked the pixellation shader you used!

Game looks awesome, but I'm not sure if I was able to move? Also I fished probably a dozen times and didn't catch anything?

Developer (1 edit)

Hey there, To catch things you have to press right click when the float bobs.
This will allow you to start fishing, we're currently working on tutorial-ising this.
( in addition, you cannot move whilst holding the fishing rod :)  )
