Really fun game mechanics! I like the concept of a microgame-style game loop, but your progress is saved between games and you switch between them rather than restarting a new game every swap. I would love to see an expanded version that adds more classic games to the roster and adds sound effects. Excellent work!

How does your submission fit the jam's theme?
It puts retro games on a retro CRT TV, with the twist that you switch between them like changing channels

Game was fire though I'd make it a bit faster and add audio.
Got a score 3360! Is there audio? There wasn’t any in the web version. Cool idea! Especially to gain lives over the course of the game. Wish something changed the more you looped to keep you engaged. I can’t believe you submitted so early, you’re a beast!
Thanks! There isn't audio as I didn't have time to add that but will post-jam! Will definitely make it more varied too, possibly have the platformer be semi-random, and have more variety of games!
For the early submission, once I learned that you can continue to update the games after initial submission, I made it a policy for jams to always submit & upload as soon as I have something playable, so that I don't get caught up on those details at the end and only need to upload the new build. But I still took close to the full jam time to finish it (though I was working for a lot of it).
I had fun with this. A little bit like Warioware and I liked that the progress remained in each game so there was a bit of a memory game aspect when switching between them.
lots of potential! imagine if everything was also sped up everytime like in warioware
Hi, I added the duck, sorry it wasn't my top priority when I first submitted it, as my focus was on the retro TV part of things, though I did have ideas for the use of ducks that got shelved. It's at the end of the platformer, and in a special asteroid in the asteroid game! This is actually the first jam I've entered where entries are disqualified for not fully adhering to the theme haha. I read the rules too, but somehow missed that part 😅
