I love setting up wires/cabling as silly as it sounds, so I loved the concept a lot. I hope you do more with it! The little ducky saucer is so cute too, models looked really solid as well.

Really cute game concept! I thought the modelling was really well done, and the idea of playing as a small duck and setting up a much larger TV set and console is a really unique implementation of the theme! Even though it had to be scaled back for the jam (which is honestly a super common thing especially given the time limit) I thought the game had some great ideas and came together pretty well. Nice job!

I can safely say this game is pretty good for a first game jam submission because 3d stuff and animations are hard especially for doing a solo dev project.

I played it in my browser and I managed to get the game turned on and even got a little jump-scared by the TV static.
I noticed the little Easter-egg where "Press E" sometimes pops up as "pressy" and while I'm not sure if it's completely random or only happens around the power-strip, I still like the attention to detail there and on the customized Vine-remote/duck game catridge.
I can definitely relate to having issues with a web build that doesn't work the same as the desktop version (I was heavily considering switching from Godot to unity after this game jam, but it sounds like the grass might not be greener on the other side after all Â¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
I digress, good work on your first game!

P.S. I originally wanted to name our submission something like "This TV Network Needs Work" before our team landed on BupTV.

The web build is definitely breaking a bunch of stuff lol. There's also supposed to be static on the screen and channel 4 is supposed to be a video of Grey Leno, but the web version isn't playing the videos. There is indeed a 10% that the Press E prompt will say Pressy lol.

In the web version everything shifts the screen does not open correctly and I can see only part of the UI because of this it is hard to click anything the Exit button in the browser just closes the tab but the idea with the UFO duck flying around and connecting the cables to the TV is really fun if the web version gets fixed I would gladly play it again

Developer

Yeah the web version is really messed up for some reason. The desktop build works fine but a lot is breaking with the web build. I don't think I set up the UI correctly to scale properly

The idea is very original. I enjoyed flying around as the duck in the alien ship, but when I tried to connect the wires they kept falling, and eventually they even slipped under the texture. Despite this, I still liked the game. It looks very cute^^
Please check out and rate my game as well.

Oh yeah, I didn't notice they where doing that. It happens quite easily too. It seems to be Unity physics being weird. I wonder if it be worth doing a check to make sure they get put back on the surface if they happen to clip through
