Jam Judge

The exe isn't working for me. Says that it's missing a pck file.

Developer (1 edit)

so sorry to ear that is the first time I export for windows

Hopefully this helps. If you are unable to do so we will sadly have to disqualify you as we need a working windows version for the game to qualify.

Developer

Okay I’ll try to fix it, thanks

Developer

I have uploaded again, can you try it?, I hope it works now

A fun, but also creepy game. I also had trouble seeing the remotes, but the stage is small enough that you kinda end up collecting them by just roaming around, so I think it's fine. The sound and lighting created a nice eerie atmosphere~ I was definitely scared of the duck haha. Loved the toilet in the bedroom lol

Thanks for the comment and for playing!!

Solid game! I’m glad the horror comes mostly from the tense atmosphere and not necessarily loud jumpscares. I did have some issues finding the remotes since they mostly appear as silhouette when you are looking at them, but I think that works to help make things more uncertain and scarier. Great job!

thank you much for the comment and for playing the game!!

Oh, the duck near the cage killed me. I thought they would only try to scare me so the tension would keep building. I liked that the duck has a human-like smile in the dark, but once you shine a light on it, the face turns into a normal duck beak.
Please check what is going on with the game and fix this issue^^

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, but I’m not sure if there’s a human smile, I’m sure that I didn’t put that, maybe is something with the CTR screen effect

Wow, that makes it even more interesting! It looked as if it was meant to be that way.

Really liked the mood of this one. The grainy screen effect and creepy little ducks make the house feel tense and uncomfortable, and the audio design sells the horror very well, especially with headphones. I did hit one issue though: once the window lost focus and came back, the mouse cursor was no longer locked to the screen, so it became very hard to aim and move. If you recapture the cursor when returning to the game it would feel much smoother. Overall I enjoyed it a lot, thanks for making it.

Thank you so much for the comment, I’m glad you like it, I’m not sure but I with that if you press “enter” the cursor blocks again, but I’m not sure and I didn’t put it on the instructions, sorry about that
