It is such a vibe. The aesthetic, theme and sound all work so well together.
I know you mention it, but yeah it’s kinda hard to see how this fits the jam theme. It does have that weather channel/PSX look though. However, it’s a great game on its own! And yeah, the upcoming card queue was kinda confusing.
I can see myself losing hours to playing this. Actually, I think I already have lol.
I did wonder if I'd be better off basing the visuals on the 90s era of The Weather Channel... while that probably would've been better suited to the theme, by that point I had already done some of the assets from memories of more recent forecast programming.
I didn't want to ruminate too much on aesthetics, so I just stuck it through. ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)╭ Definitely would've taken that route had I managed my time a little better, LMAO.
Awesome game! As everyone else is saying, the tutorial is a great addition: it’s clear, concise, and also helps to add to the aesthetic. The weather channel theming is great and I think is a perfect fit for the theme. Really great job!

Only one comment, I got slightly confused by the upcoming card previews at first since it looks the icon below each card is what will come next in that slot, when it's actually going in a queue from right to left
