This is insanely pretty. Love the visuals and color palette. You have a solid foundation for a cool looking metrovania! The only thing I can say is yeah, there isn’t a strong link to the retro TV theme. Nonetheless, this is awesome. Congrats on your first game~

- This game was really cool! I'm SHOCKED that you had 0 experience with code before this! I think it was really cool how you had to unlock everything, from basic mechanics to the graphics and music. And when the music kicked in, it was just an incredible feeling. I think you have a good understanding of game design despite having never coded before. I think some of the combat and jumps were a bit difficult, but don't let that discourage you! I'd highly consider exploring this, and game design in general, if you so choose. You're clearly talented! Thanks for submitting!
- It was really cool seeing the game "construct" itself as you played, making it appear deceptively simple at first. I wasn't expecting it to have such visual flair so the art really impressed me.
How does your submission fit the jam's theme?
It's themed around VHS style visuals and sounds, but it also has duck.
