this was awesome! super impressive you made All of this in just a weekend! i agree with the comments below, i wouldve enjoyed if movement was a bit faster, or maybe some kind of dash mechanic wouldve been fun (totally understandable that there isnt one considering all the other mechanics here lol), unless being slower-paced was intentional. the boat part was my favorite personally. this was visually really nice too! and the game overall feels very nicely put together!

Amazing visuals!  I agree with the comment below, the movement speed is a little on the sluggish side, and for my own two cents the text scroll, while super creative, was a little slow, and skipping the text scroll resulted in it disappearing a little too quickly for me to read.  Besides that, everything was really well done here.  Also, I managed to beat act 3 without killing any henchmen by accidentally getting caught by one, pulling them away long enough to get through.  Did you ever have anything planned for that, like a third ending?

This game's presentation is INCREDIBLY impressive, I love how much attention to detail you payed to each part of the UI. The story is engaging, and the 2 unique endings gave me a reason to replay and try to play better on my second go! My biggest critique is probably the pacing of the game, since the iconic Dodgy Detective has a pretty slow movement speed and checkpoints are somewhat far apart for the speed the player character moves at. I do appreciate the ability to skim through dialogue on replays though!
