this was nice! i love the effort put into the main menu and i had fun playing! i got to like wave 11 just from dodging the enemies and keeping on running lol, and i do agree it mightve been nice to have more feedback when powerups are collected
also if i may ask what music box vst did you guys use for the music (if you used one)? it sounds quite similar to one i have lol
Thanks! I really love making the dynamic music for the games we make, its one of my favorite parts of the jam, glad you enjoy it! I tried out a few different music box vsts for the music but the only one that stayed was "SPITFIRE LABS: hannah peel's music box"
yep thats the one!
Fantastic visuals and great gameplay! I love the dynamic music, with the music changing as you progress further. I wish the powerups had a bit more feedback when collected, though, like some sort of sound effect. Excellent game across the board!
I love the effort you all put into the presentation with the main menu and loading screen! It was a great first impression! I really love the idea behind needing to run away from the power-ups too, it was very unique! I did find it a bit hard to aim at the enemies, though, with them moving towards the left while you need to move towards the right side of the screen. Maybe if the enemies stayed to the right of the screen and piled up over time it would be more consistent to try and hit them? Also at the moment it seems like you can ignore most of them, but the game is definitely more engaging when you take the time to attempt to defeat them
I love the lil guys in game and there is some deep rooted passion here
