Awesome Crazy Taxi-like game, great usage of the provided theme.
Cute game I love the graphics very retro sonic colours aquatic zone type feel especially with the funky coral trees very cool also quite hard because tank controls but tbf skill issue on my part.
This gets the bad ass seal of approval!
i’m glad you like the aesthetics! i had a lot of fun figuring out the theme around the prompt of “[cherry] blossom” while still making it feel ocean-y ^^
as a cheeky little tip from the inside: controller feels soo good. i’m fond of the keyboard tank controls, but having a joystick is so natural in my opinion :P and i’m using a switch procon, so anything should work just fine!
yeah I wasn't able to test it on controller but overall fun game hope your entry wins against our snakey boat boy one :)

This is very good! You've got a proper opening card thing, scene transitions, and even credits - not to mention actual useful information on your game page. It's really cool to see what someone who knows what they're doing can make! (full disclosure, I tried to play on mobile and gave up after blowing a few bubbles)

thank you! we have a couple members who have done 3TG before, some who have never done a jam before, so it was a a cool learning experience all round! and that (with the relatively simple game loop) is probably why we could polish everything up so cleanly :) that and will unexaggeratedly did just do whatever he wanted. which works out because the leaderboard competition has been utterly ravenous lol
I never considered what driving a whale should be like. But now I know that tank controls and whales were made for each other.
yeaaaaah i know right its a bit confusing at the start but once you get used to it its amazing! Also controller and mobile work on itch and automatically use a different control scheme and movement system which imo is even better. I shall make sure to have an insult match later after i sleep XD
