[LFS][Art][Animation] Looking for a 2D artist/animator for cozy knitting game

Hello everyone! I'm working on a cozy knitting game for my capstone project, and in need of an artist! I posted about this a few months ago, but I had to put the project on hold for a while. Now that I’ve resumed development, I’m posting again to reach out to artists that are available.

The gameplay will consist of timing inputs to successfully knit a project, and the player will discover the main character's thoughts in the process! The game screen will be first person pov of yarn and knitting needles (and/or hands if possible!) so while there isn't a lot happening on screen, I think the movement of the yarn and needle might be a bit tricky to draw or animate. Right now I'm imagining either a hand drawn style or a very simplistic style (like Hammer time from Bits and Bops), but I'm open to other art styles or suggestions!

This is my first time making a game so we may have to figure things out as we go. We could discuss pay but I don't have the largest budget at the moment. I need to submit a short gameplay trailer in March/April 2026, but a level or two (about the scale of a demo) will be enough and we can continue working on the game afterwards if we want!

If you're interested in a cozy knitting indie game with an overthinking main character, please feel free to contact me either by email beingawesome2426@gmail.com or on discord @jiyooniboon and we can discuss more about the project!
