Really cool concept overall, there’s a lot of potential here! Once I figured out what was happening, the core loop actually felt pretty engaging 😄. From a design standpoint though, the game could really benefit from clearer onboarding. A quick tutorial or even a simple tooltip system would go a long way toward explaining character abilities, floor logic, and how choices affect the outcome.
Mechanically, some interactions feel a bit unpredictable 🤔. For example, certain characters seem to trigger actions without a clear cause, and a few abilities (like the engineer’s) didn’t behave consistently on my end. I also ran into a couple of UI quirks, the skip button firing error sounds even when it should be valid, and occasional random ability pop-ups that didn’t seem tied to anything in the scene. Those kinds of bugs can make the strategy layer harder to read.
Still, the idea is super interesting, and with more clarity + a pass on the logic bugs, this could become a really addictive little puzzle game 👍✨.
Really interesting game. I'd echo what others have said, it's a bit confusing to play without a tutorial or some more information to give the player on what's going on. I'm also unsure of what the choose a character thing does when it seemed the characters to choose from were already there.
Once I did start getting a handle on what was going on, it was really interesting. I think there's a good chance this could be a very addicting little puzzler if it were more clear!
This game is one of the best, super cool
The idea is really cool and the art style fits great, but I was pretty confused about how everything works. A short tutorial or clearer guidance on where people are meant to go would help a lot. Some of the abilities and floor changes felt pretty unpredictable, and I wasn’t always sure why certain characters behaved the way they did. I also ran into a few odd bugs with abilities popping up or floors changing randomly. Despite that, the core concept is interesting, just feels like with some clarity and polish this could turn into something really fun.
Very hard to understand.. Maybe you could make a tutorial for the game because i still do not undertsnad where the people are supposed to go... But the visuals are really good:)
Interesting and unique spin on the concept and game! One major thing I'd personally change is give the players a way to strategize beforehand, by at least seeing where everyone wants to go on the floor they're on. It feels pretty random in which order you take the people into the elevator. Also the ability of the security guard can really screw you if you bank on him giving you a better floor on another character and then it ends up being worse.
I also sadly ran into a fair selection of issues which I couldn't really explain. Like: Sometimes just random pop ups of characters and their abilities appear, not connected to anything that's in the level. The ability of the engineer doesn't seem to work at all, and using the skip selection in the bottom left UI just plays error noises even if he should be able to get to that floor. Also the dude with the basecap seems to do many things but what he is supposed to do by changing floor numbers of people kind of randomly. And after trying to get the people he randomized out the randomize their floor number again.
So all in all pretty cool and with a bit of polishing and bugfixing I can see this becoming a neat little game.
I will to fix bugs that i can fix in rating period and make my next games better than it, thank you for feedback !
