I got into such a weird flow state with this on my second playthrough, lost at level 20. Really nice pacing of increasingly dangerous bugs. The music was so perfect. Loved the exploding bugs, nice work!
Thank you!!!
Right as I opened up the game I was like oh no, fly buzzing sounds lol
It was a nice silly game; the background music was nice in setting the mood and the main mechanic had some juice to it. The blood and sfx really add a lot. It definitely feels like it would have gotten a lot of plays as a web game, so its a bit unfortunate you didn't get it there. The mouse problem I heard you can set to mouse mode hidden/captured and it should work.
At some point, I was just spinning my mouse in a circle, and it just killed everything haha. I am so surprised I was actually hitting things, that looks very complex to achieve. I noticed that the weapon selector can have duplicates, so probably removing the first one from the pool would avoid that from happening. I also saw some enemies with more than one hp, maybe a red flash tween on modulate would have given some more juice there to show it was being hit.
I had some problems getting people to play our game as well, but after rating a bunch and leaving comments, we got a bit of traffic to ours at least. Thank you for submitting!
Thank you so much for the king words :)
This music made me laugh and fly away somewhere beyond the human mind at the same time! Damn, it's a very funny project. It's a pity that you didn't make the web version - then there would have been much more ratings and players. I really enjoyed it, it's so fun and bloody!
Thank you very much for the feedback! For some reason I couldn't get the mouse to be hidden in the web build and I completely forgot to check on that and such I basically forgot to upload a web version!

I though I left a comment here 2 days ago, but I guess I didn't post it xD
I've loved this one, its reeeeally fresh, you did a good work with those arm kinematics, funny and clunky, I would suggest to give a little zoom out, and to make some obstacles for the arm so we have to "think" a little more, at a time I was just swinging the chainsaw like a beast and slaughtering those bugs even before they entered the screen.
very satisfying game, congrats on the freshness!! :)
Thank you! I think on further waves it is sort of needed to get those off screen bugs! pro gamer level move!!!!
Thanks for the nice words! I appreciate it!
Very silly, but I had a lot of fun!
The camera shake and sound effects really added to the experience. Also, thank you for resisting the urge to make all of the flies make buzzing sounds haha.
The urge was very much there,I can tell you that much! thanks!
Really fun! Janky controls in a fun Goat Simulator type of way. Not sure how the mushroom is damaged by flies but immune to errant chainsaw swings, but on the other hand that's probably not the least plausible thing I've seen in a video game. Also great job with the simple but consistent and well executed aesthetic!
Thank you! The weapons are held above the mushroom so it doesn't hit the mushroom. That would be my way of explaining it!
