I am actually in awe. This was not something I expected from a game jam. The controlls and the feel of the speed was sooooo good. The polish was unreal, and oh it was so fun to play. I have no notes. 10/10. Great job!!

excellent feeling of movement, guys. I felt myself like I'm Rock Lee running to the village of sand. I did 3.4 km btw
Really didn't understand what are black pieces with green light overlay and what they do.
Also lvl design needs improvements in way of placing yellow speed-ups and overall sandy landscape to make possible roll on super speed as sonic X, whatever.
Thanks a lot for playing! 3.4 km is a really high score, well done!
The black pieces with the green glow are rubber your tire wears down from friction, so you need to collect those to keep moving forward.
I would’ve loved to work more on the level design, but time was tight since we could only really start the jam on Saturday because of classes on Friday (we had only done 2–3 small things before).
A Sonic-style super speed boost would be an amazing addition for sure!
Thanks again for playing!
Thanks a lot for playing the game!
The goal is simply to go as far as possible by collecting rubber (the black items with a green outline). Rubber basically acts as your fuel: it fills the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Without rubber, you can’t move, dash, or jump — all these actions consume rubber.
Controls:
-
Z or W (depending on your keyboard) → Move forward
-
Space → Jump or dive (depending on whether you're on the ground or in the air)
-
Shift → Boost
-
Mouse → Steer your tire (A–D or Q–D don’t work anymore — we forgot to remove the old bindings)
When you land, your angle matters: a clean landing gives you a Perfect, which gives extra speed. Good / OK / Bad just show how well you hit the slope.
thanks again for the feedback and glad you enjoyed it!
Very satisfying gameplay! You definitely got the "speed" part of the jam theme down perfect, and the procedural generation for the limitation is also incredibly commendable.
Overall you have a solid foundation in programming and I think this project shows potential to be taken even further, great work!
QDZ does not work for me or it does and I see no effect. I did not fully understand what makes a good or bad landing.
Overall, it is an interesting concept for a mobile game. Well done!
this is so so sick, one of my favorite entries i’ve played so far
SO FUN!!!
Enjoyed your game! Thank you for providing a download for it running in browser was bad even with hardware accel on but also thank you for providing instructions on how to possibly fix that issue!
