This game is really fun, the dog's point of view is a refreshing take. I did eat the spaghetti and appreciate the note about the onions being dangerous to dogs. I didn't eat the trash though, opting for a dog treat instead c': the house map layouts added to the charm and all the rooms look cozy.
The interactions with Miss Hiss are organic. The player never feels stuck, and the exploration is rewarding. I did find it funny that we have a 'pocket' to transport the chair but unlocking a door is beyond our abilities. Very well done!
Pure delight :) Silksong easter egg is appreciated too
I really enjoyed the quest and the story! :) The art is amazing, the gameplay is fun, I also liked scattered narrative details about the owner
What a fun game! Simple but effective and very polished. Fun easter eggs in the art and wonderful humor in the writing. The original music was a really nice touch too.
This was SO MUCH FUN! I loved interacting with everything, just so I could see how our little doggy will comment on it. Also Higgs struggling with their own mortality when we mention their age (and the comment about putting a chair into our "own pocket") was 10/10.
Adorable. It all comes together in a lovely way.
THANKS SO MUCH! I'm really happy that you find it adorable. The dog is insanely cute. TheLightsmen did a fantastic job with the art for our little hero Valor! ^_^
Loved it! It's funny, it's pretty, it's clever and creative. And, most important, it's fun to play.
TYSM for saying that. It was super fun to develop and implement narrative design for the first time, so I'm super excited to hear that it succeeded in being fun to play! <3
So fun and cute! Loved to gather clues around the apartment. Well done!
Thank you so much! I was inspired a little bit by the old point-and-click adventure games where you explore around and interact with things until something works for you LOL. Maybe in the future, I could make something like that.
SO CUTE! πΆπ±
Everything here is so well-made and works perfectly together! The text, options, visuals, music, sfx, atmosphere, characters, gameplay, exploration, narrative, story... Amazing job! π
The only nitpick I have is that the bad ending is missing the visuals. But maybe that is even deliberately so.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm super happy to hear that you had enjoyed it!
Regarding the bad endings, I absolutely wanted to have visuals for it but we ran out of time. We most likely will add something like that after the jam finishes. But I think it is a nice "mechanic," so to speak, that the visuals turn off once you reach one of the bad endings.
Thanks again! :3
