I love the movement to this game so much! It's a very aggressive movement style that is hard to handle at first but once you learn it becomes incredibly fun. Always got so hyped to see the room with the large pit because if you timed it right you could slide into a jump and clear the whole thing, super satisfying to pull off.

Visually the game has a lot of really cool aspects, your merge of 2D and 3D assets is really cool and I love the way it looks. The only recommendation I can make there is some sort of texturing on the walls and floor, the current does certainly give the feel of a sterile lab, but also gives it a bit of an unfinished game look. I think with that included this game would look so cool.

But as is, especially within the 3 day timer, this game is a really fun fast paced entry with a unique visual style that has a lot of potential if expanded further. Amazing work!

Thanks for the feedback. Actually we have planend for better polished. He have created some assets for the rooms and animation for the enemies movement and attack, but we we unable to isert them in time. It was a fun gamejam though.

Felt stuck in the first obstacle for a while, then I realized you could hold shift to sprint- that's when it became interesting- I was now this crack addict whizzing around the laboratory stealing government crack, airstrafing on platforms and murdering what I presume are evil turtle guards, got 76k!. Also the hand drawn hands and menu look sick, just wish it didn't have a set timer cuz I had to exit the game to look at it again, but cool game for a jam!

Developer

Thanks! We actually had animations ready the players hands and the enemies movements but sadly we didnt manage to import them in time. Glad you enjoyed!

I really like the idea, and I always love when a 3D environment has 2D characters. The only thing is that it runs a bit laggy for me, but it doesn’t matter :)

Totally, we could have done a bit more work optimisimg the game to not be as heavy, but you know how game jams are....:-) We also made animations for all the 2D sprites but suddly didnt have enough time to import the. Thanks for playig!!

The controls feel a bit clanky, but overall a good idea. Keep the hard work !

oohhh i hope some people who are much better at first person games than i play this! i mostly play 2d stuff, and i’m kinda terrible at first person things - the movement seems super fun from what i was able to do and i really like the visuals, but i was also struggling just to climb the stairs in the first room when i fell ;-;

again, this is probably just because i’m terrible at 3d first person games lol

Developer

Actually this is probably not you fault ':-) I didn't have enough time to playtest the levels and as it turns out I made them really difficult. Thanks for trying though. I had fun making it and I am glad someone actually played it
