Absolutely loved the art and generally the whole vibe. Unique and dark. Nice job! 👏

Played through on both normal and hard. The sound design was nice, but neither mode offered much in the way of gameplay. I just walked around, picked up items, then walked back. There didn't seem to be much point in engaging with the enemies at all, and they didn't seem terribly interested in engaging with me either (I followed a few around, tried to get them to aggro with varying levels of success, then just walked away). For large stretches, there weren't any enemies around at all. I think it really would've helped to tighten up the map (less empty space) and increase the threat of the enemies (more of them, more aggressive, more dangerous when they do aggro) to keep pressure on the player (and maybe give them a reason to use those bullets).

The constantly depleting health also didn't add much pressure. I found you could just ignore it if you were walking around looting since you'd always get enough health to stay topped off.

The music was nice, and I enjoyed the somewhat spooky/mysterious atmosphere while exploring the map. The reticle narrowing when focusing on enemies was a nice touch.

This is incredibly well made and polished, the atmosphere is perfect, and the gameplay pretty addictive! Great work!

I think this is my favorite game I've played so far for this jam. The only suggestion/feedback I have is there wasn't a sense of danger. Or at least on the normal difficulty. I could easily kill the enemies and find ammo and health. I loved the atmosphere and map. Nicely done!

fun little game! i completed it once on normal, and once on hard. the dynamic audio is definitely the star of the show here, it's so seamless i didn't even notice the changes at first when i was playing. but it really contributes to making the robots feel scary.

the gameplay itself is a little bit... empty. i think it takes away from the concept a bit that so much time is spent just walking between locations, you could've considered maybe shrinking the map a little? i think the game really could've used more to do, just in general. like cover mechanics i feel would work super well here.

the shooting feels very well polished, the character models are intriguing, the graphics are pretty and one thing i really like is how inaccurate your gun is. it makes the robots a lot more scary to fight than they otherwise would've been.

nice game, i think my favorite thing was the designs, so definitely keep going with that! you two are quite good at them :)

Shp really liked ur game when he was playing!

thanks for playing ours, yeah we went hard on visual and audio, not so much on the volume of content, if given more time we’d love to develop it further! I remember Running around A LOT when I was test playing too lol

anyway let’s keep up the good stuff in future games!

Nicely done! The music got pretty hype and then realized that it was chase music when I turned around a found a robot monster shooting me. Nice job making a 3D game!

Developer

we're glad you were able to experience the dynamic music like that, the jam version has a last minute bug on it that we couldn't fix in time! thank you!

I really loved the visual atmosphere you created, and the world seems interesting!

Developer

glad to hear that, we put much of our effort into that, thank you!

Been working on a game called "Dreamscape" so this kind of jumped out at me, haha!

I really love the mood. Although, I will say, I didn't realize I could find the artifacts in the pillows, but I knew they could have health refills so I started trying to ration them, not realizing I was skipping out on the objective. Whoops.

Either way, nicely done!

haha, good thing we snuck that extra "e" in the middle then, wouldn't want to steal your ideas, thank you for playing!
