Nice game, easy to pick up once you understand the controls
Super cute card game! I didn't fully understand the mechanics, but I got the hang of it.
The style gives me West of Loathing which is one of my absolute favorite games.
I would love a tutorial or a brief description on the game page or main menu telling me what all the icons mean and how to apply them to the board. Otherwise I really enjoyed it! I would consider playing it again just to figure it out some more.
Really loved the art! Good color comp. Charming anims. Mechanics were well thought out. I couldn't just place any card willy-nilly which helped me to figure out the game. Great audio too -- perfect for this type of game.
Well done team. ♥
Thank you :)
I actually wanted to implement a tutorial or a training battle but I completely underestimated how much work needed to be done. We couldn't find time to do more than a tiny help page hidden in settings which is a shame. Thank you for playing tho :>
I'm impressed at how in-depth the game seems to be! I struggled a bit to get a good grasp of the rules and mechanics, but with some more explanations and perhaps some clearer feedback on where each card can be placed, I think it could make a solid base for a standalone game, great work! (and the art and sound is pretty sweet as well!)
And a small note which might be useful: the game does not display too well on high-resolution screens (mine is 1440p). I think you can set the window stretch mode to "viewport" or "canvas_item" in your project settings to help with that!
Really cool card game, kinda reminds me of hearthstone which is awesome. I like the music and art style and the gameplay is solid with a good amount of mechanics in different cards and the trick cards are cool too. Placing the cards is pretty difficult, but other than that I had a great time playing the game. Great work!
