Game Description
Type your way through the counter-curse before your body decays beneath you. Use your arsenal of spells to make the incantation easier. Time is not on your side; can you type fast enough to survive?
How does your game tie into the theme?
You are cursed and actively decaying the entire time. The goal of the game is to cast a counter-curse to nullify the decay.

Now I know why I hate autocorrect so much... This game!
My typing as gotten bad and not even noticed it.
I would say it would be really nice if you had some options for difficulty and make the spells easier to type so it appeared quote symbol was actually a space sometimes...
Interesting take on the theme and it was fun just wish I was better
Thanks for playing! Agreed on both counts. We talked about adding difficulty options early on, but never quite got around to it before the deadline (as it goes with jams). As for the spells, they are long enough and difficult enough that they should probably take multiple typos to fail instead of just one.
Wow I didn't think I was bad at typing! I couldn't finish it. I think for someone at my typing error rate, I'd need the "decay go away" spell to reset the entire bar lol.
Cool game, very neat
Thanks for playing! We definitely made a few people realize how much they hit backspace with this game!
I can't type.
I tried, I just suck.
I'm sorry.
It's okay, thanks for trying!
That was super cool. I wasn't able to get super far (I kinda suck at typing :p ) but it was still a very atmospheric and enjoyable experience. My favorite part was having to type out 'settings' and stuff like that. Really added the game and made even navigating menus kinda fun.
Thanks for playing! I'm very happy to hear people are liking the typing-based menus. I thought it was a fun idea.
I love the typing controlled menu, that's so unique and fun. The game itself has very nice atmosphere and the idea is really cool, but it is super challenging, I misstype a lot and I'm used to just typing fast and then erasing the typos after the fact, but the punishment for missinputs here is brutal haha. Great idea!
Thanks for playing! I thought being able to control everything by typing was a cool idea, so I'm very happy to hear you liked the typing-controlled menu. Yeah, the game definitely rewards accuracy over pure speed; I've heard from a few people that it made them realize just how much they hit Backspace while typing!
Challenging typing game, very enjoyable! I do wish there was some progress bar showing how close you are to finishing the "curse". I could see this being fleshed out more as well as a unique concept. Good job!
Thanks for playing, and glad you enjoyed it! Agreed on the progress bar; that would definitely be a good addition.
A wildly original and fun game. I was a bit confused at times when learning the game but once it clicked it was enjoyable. Congrats on the jam!
Thanks for playing! There are definitely some things that could be made more obvious (e.g. that you can just start typing a spell at any time, that you can actually still type spells while "stunned" from a mistake in the main text, etc.). Glad you enjoyed it once it clicked, though!
Omg! My blind type trainings for seven+ years was made for this game! I really enjoed it!
It's a shame it's so underrated(not really many ratings for now) I really like this vibe and I love to type!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I love typing. Really nice sound effects and it's a very cool spin on a typing game.
Thanks for playing! Having an actual typewriter on-hand definitely went a long way towards making nice sound effects.
Always satisfying to play a vibey typing game
Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!
