I've always wanted to play Chronicles of Lancelot, but I don't like turn based combat so... I pre-ordered this game, for the first time on itchio I pre-ordered a game, because I'm a big Resident Evil fan, but I don't know how the download works. I know the game hasn't been released yet, but do we receive the pre-order content download link by email or is it a dedicated tab?

Another question: my gaming laptop is weak/modest ( I can play Cyberpunk 2077 at very low with 20-40 fps ), and I played Whispers of Labyrinth as a benchmark. I noticed that even with the settings on Very Low, Windowed, and 720p, the game is slow (20 below). I also noticed that it's not possible to disable bloom effects or wet skin. Does Boys in the Dark use the same settings?

It would be great to be able to disable these things to improve game performance on laptops.

Well running this game (looking back to lancelot) will be rough, because the graphics are high and performance is not the best. I think you will be able to run it on low. Further you'll receive a download link through Itch.io and you'll get a email when it is released. 

thank you so much for the answer Binksgay <-- What he says + BitD levels are more optimized now since we’ve got more experience, plus the areas are smaller than in Lancelot, so the game runs a bit lighter. BSDZY :D
