I like the concept a lot, it's like Mario galaxy. The movement was pretty buggy though and I wish there was more gameplay than run around aimlessly until you run into the portal.
Would of liked maybe an arrow pointing to the objective but cool game!
cool, what was done with bezi?
I posted a bit more on my devlog, but Bezi helped me code some things to help me create the levels. For example, I didn't manually place the bushes, speed boosts, and mud puddles. It created a little tool where I could put values and it would generate the worlds. It also created buttons on each planet where I could add/remove and shift them all together (closer to planet, away from planet, etc). Lastly, it made the audiomanager for me because I ran out of time and it did it in like 2 minutes :O
very impressive for 2 days but I feel like it lacks something maybe even other "enemy" types
good job (:
Thanks! Yeah same its a bit lacking, I wanted to add more enemies on the ground surface maybe a mothership UFO but I ran out of time. I only was able to work on it for 1 day of the jam :(
Cool mechanic! I wish there were another way to find TPS other than wandering around, it was fun though.
Additionally, the sound might have been bugged, it was very choppy.
Thanks! I wanted to add a 'pulse' that would show you the way on a cooldown but i ran out of time.
2nd person to tell me about the audio -- super weird it runs fine on my browser. Maybe its a different browser issue, I only tested on Chrome :(
Im on firefox for context
It's a nice game, but there are issues with the sound, and I appreciate it when games have sound settings (slider).
Yep, ran out of time to add fluff UI menus. Could always use system tray audio controls! gg
