Very nice little story game. Loved the calming mechanic. That was a really nice part of the whole experience :)

Good job!

Really sweet theme. I liked Audrey’s design and the little minigames were fun. Enjoyed the vibe of the whole thing. :)

I couldn't get this to work on Linux with Wine, but I really wanted to play this game because the visuals and the mechanics hinted to in the screenshots seemed very cool, so I bit the bullet and booted up Windows for this game :D

And it's a cool little game with a nice story! My only criticism would probably be that the choices make it VERY obvious what the right thing to choose is, but I know how hard it is to write good non-obvious choices in these pick-your-own-adventure style stories, especially if you don't have very much time. I loved the calming down mechanic, it reminded me of the breathing mechanic in Celeste! And the doomscrolling mechanic was also very fun. I think these two mechanics really helped the story feel way more real!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm sorry you had so many problems with booting the game, I plan on making a Linux build after the jam ends :)

Hehe that's alright, I'm just glad I could play it :D

I had issues with running the game - it would get stuck, not load a scene or crash :( I was trying the 1.2 version on Windows.  Then again I am cursed with sw&hw issues in general so it is just probably my bad :D

(Also reading the comments, I now feel stupid for failing the first challenge of the scrolling - I thought that since I clicked "no" to more scrolling I was supposed to just sit and watch the phone and wait for something to happen Q_Q)

Developer

Hi, unfortunately we coudnt finish the looping mechanic in time so if you fail a route the game soometimes needs to be restarted to work properly again :(( Its prob not because of your sw&hw

And thanks for the feedback on the first minigame! If we have the chance to corret it, wed try to make the goal and scrolling mechanic more obvious ^^  Hope u enjoyed the story and rest of the game <3

I was really looking forward to playing this game but unfortunately I can't push the boredom slider :( If you know what causes it let me know!

Developer

You have to scroll on the phone on the left :) Sorry for the slider confusion

Submitted(+2)

Ooohh what confused me is the slider changed colour when I clicked on it. The game is sort of a social anxiety horror I must say! /pos

Also Audrey hot omg

Last thing I forgot to mention: I reaaally liked the interactable parts of the game. The scrolling, the cursor wrestling... Really nice!

Developer(+1)

Haha thank you! We loved making the minigames but we were worried they wouldn't fit into the genre, I'm happy to hear you like it :)

What the deuce is a logarithm.

This was really cute! I liked Audrey's design, the minigames vere fun/funny and the music was good.

Great idea overall, and the best use of theme I have seen so far. I think saying the story speaks to me is a slight self report, but it does.

Developer

Hi, thanks for the comment! I'm happy you enjoyed our game and the story spoke to you a little :)

Loved the Audrey’s design, and the overall art in general. :)

What a sweet way to interpret the theme. The only thing missing for me were maybe more ambiguous choices/branches because it was obvious which were the correct ones and nothing was stopping me from picking them, but I liked the idea of the game and Audrey's design!

Thanks for the great feedback!
