Amazing entry. Mini Return Of Obra Dinn made in 30 days?? Absolutely marvelous! I had some trouble with some little bugs but considering the size and time-span of a project like this, it was totally acceptable. Great game!

Game description
Solve the murder of Cassandra Vielo
Theme interpretation
I interpreted it as soundwaves. In this game you have to use sounds to navigate the environment.

the graphic and the atmospher were amazing , i enjoyed solve th case
Really interesting concept. I love being a P.I. I wanted to accuse everyone and everything! The roomba did it! Confess, you robotic bastard!
I think the feedback I would like to offer is some of the fantasy here feels maybe a little bit incomplete. Like, I'm a brilliant detective, but am I... blind? If I'm blind, how can I read all these notes? If I'm not blind, why do I have to follow a noisy and suspicious roomba around to see anything? Can I not click my tongue or something for some echolocation? Am I a mute too? Am I writing the questions I ask the suspects on a notepad or something?
Now that I write this out, I guess this sounds pretty nitpicky or absurd. But it was really what I was thinking about most of the time here. I guess that's because the experience is rather novel, and I was trying to justify why I was stumbling around in black rooms looking for a clue that implicated that evil cleaning robot.
Thank you! The robot will not divulge its secrets!
That is actually really fair and something I thought about a lot while making this! I couldn't decide what direction I wanted to go or how I could make the premise of the game work without giving the player a "make sound wherever and whenever I want" button which would break half the game. In the end I just decided the "I'll just do the thing that I think is the most fun" approach and broke the fantasy a bit.
Fantastic game really enjoyed it. Reminds me of Obra dinn crossed with like a horror puzzle game. I thought the puzzles were really amazing but could not pass the safe it was just too subtle for me. A game like this is balanced on a knife edge of amazing and frustrating and I feel like much of the time I was wowed but a few times it was frustrating. One point of frustration was the vinyl not being pulled back when I grabbed it, I usually had to interact with something in the bedroom to resummon it. Similarly some of the sound and light effects (water droplets, alarms) are not synchronized which made a few spots more confusing than needed. But overall, this was an outstanding game, good writing, a good balance of disability and ability that made the detective fun to play. Also outside the safe I thought the sound design was immaculate. Really great job!
it was a great game, getting interactive with almost every object and having its own special sound effect on every object, I can imagine how much effort was really put into it :)
i wish you continued success
The art style is great, however for me it was also that got me confused. The game needs some polish but the overall gameplay was sublime. Also for some reason I could only hear whistling in my ears which made me want to stop playing after a while as it got a bit irritating. What exactly is that?
Atmospheric! Cool idea using soundwaves. I found it hard to know where I was going, though...
You should ABSOLUTELY keep working on this. My only complaint is the lack of polish in some areas, but everything else was great. The writing was way better than I expected for a jam game. I honestly think people would pay for a full version of this!
Outstanding! Gameplay and art style beautifully melded. You should consider polishing this up and putting it on steam. Great work!
Really beautiful art design! I was a bit spooked when the first NPC had my name xD What a coincidence
The art direction and unraveling the mystery felt very reminiscent of Return of the Obra Dinn. Really beautiful presentation. I did get lost a few times because my sense of direction is woeful. It would be cool if the player had an option to emit a sound themselves to help highlight the immediate surroundings more easily.
