Very intriguing story mechanic, sailing through this [very] beautiful map with all its dangers and the nice music and relaxing sea sounds on the background while getting those bottled messages and putting all together. The voice acting is the cherry on the cake! Its impressive and it serves the game so well. The art is outstanding too. Congratulations. I had just a tiny bug with the voice overlapping with a message I got while the first was still playing.

I really enjoyed the story! The calming voice, the aesthetics - a pleasure to play. This game brings me peace. Thank you for this experience

found a bug - you can go out of map (top left corner) and after a while game restarts.

I love this game's use of ancient cartography as a navigation interface! =)

I loved the feel of this game, the texture you created by breathing some life into those old fashioned nautical maps of a lost era. The story had me hooked, I was definitely going to find out what happened to dear old dad. The final push through the frozen North had me tense, sails reefed, watching for any gust of wind that might blow me off course. Great work! I bet someone had a lot of fun drawing all those sea monsters. :)

Thank you for playing all the way through, hope you had fun.  I can assure you our artists had fun with this game, they drew everything from scratch :)

Interesting story with nice quite exploration feel. The only thing I would criticize is that the clues led me to journal entry 6 instead of 3! It said something like: “We’ll be heading west tomorrow”, so i went straight west and found the ice wall, then had to backtrack all the way around the planet to find 3,4,5.

It was also kinda funny that his Dad was complaining about how treacherous the waters were, I’m like “No they aren’t you just re-spawn if you hit too many icebergs”

Hey thanks for playing all the way through and give some feedback! I personally think you are absolutely right, we could have spent some more time with the actual map design, but that's how a gamejam is.:) An important takeaway is to playtest as soon as possible so we can investigate these kind of issues.
Thanks again!
