Game description
As a fish person, you've had enough of these pesky pirates messing around your turf. Time for some thrashing! The more you attack, the more the waves of your heart will rage, letting you move faster, hit harder and jump higher. Keep the beat up!

Theme interpretation
The game takes place on the sea with custom wave mechanics. The character's heart beat waves are shown on the interface, and the game features enemies that spawn in waves.

Very solid game! I really enjoyed the combat idea, although it took me a while to figure out that the attacks cause damage and pushes the enemy (like smash bros). Maybe a clearer feedback on the attack hit would make the attacks feel more punchy and have more weight. The health system is very good too, I loved raging through pirates sending them to the air!

Thank you so much for playing and your kind words! I agree with the feedback issue as well, it would be a lot more readable that way.

omg! two theme songs were beyond my expectations, good job with that!!
i also got a bit of old-school jrpg games' vibes from the art and specially music, not sure if it was intentional or not.

Thank you! I made the main menu theme, while the action theme was made by my brother. The jrpg energy is unintended, but much appreciated-- I do love jrpgs, haha!

Thank you for playing!

Haha this was so charming. The art was cute the floaty physics light Smash bros esque fighting was fun, and the south park wobble walk was a delight. I'd make the hits a little meatier and it a little more readable how to make the boat wobble but it was pretty fun as it was. Good showing!

Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! Smash Bros was indeed a huge inspiration, haha!
