this is by far my favorite entry that I've played up to this point

The gameplay loop is tight, controlled and progresses perfectly, the randomness makes it super interesting, like everything is just so clean and is absolutely my type of game to play

I finished it on my second try and got 27360 points! not sure how well that fares against others, I did use a few hints towards the end, but everything makes sense and there's certain patterns you notice over time, the main one being the vertical lines for me

Overall a fantastic game idea, with a fantastic execution! 5 stars all around :3

Thank you so much! Glad you found gameplay engaging and challenging at the same time. Your score is really high!

Great gameplay and ramp-up in difficulty. I thought I was pretty smart until I had to combine 3 waves together. 5 stars in the theme of course!

Maybe more like a math class than a game, but fun nonetheless. Perfect as an educational game. A possible extention could be the guess the sound wave from a sound.

Amazing! Nice interpretation and implementation, the completeness is quite impressive!

Here is an entry with similar thought: /jam/game-off-2025/rate/4084111

A rare jam game in a sense that it has a good amount of polish.

I also like the core mechanic. It is very simple but well thought out. Some of the combinations can be quite hard to get but I like that at least one of the wave types is usually easy to find.

The only major issue I have with this game is that I simply do not have motivation to start another run after a failed one. Even when the puzzles are randomly generated, there is not enough variance and decisions made between runs so I would like to grind myself back to my previous high score. And I do not say this meaning that the game would be bad, but it would need something around the core mechanic to make me start another run.

Overall, one of the most polished and complete games I have seen in this jam!

Thank you for such constructive feedback! I agree that my game lacks some meta around and honestly speaking, I could not find time to make it more engaging and focused on core part. The only cheap way I came up with was to create levels limit with increasing difficulty curve and score hunting.

I love the idea! Its so cool and the style is well thought out with all the UI/UX stuff! Suprisingly difficult too (for myself at least) Good job overall tho! :)

Amazing game with clear UI ,but maybe I would add some checkpoints, I consider it a bit frustrating restart the entire game when you die

Developer

Thank you for trying out! Regarding your feedback - it was a design decision as every level in run is autogenerated and savepoints didn’t fit in this “balatro-style” progression with highest score target. I don’t think this was the best way to make it but ended up with such design.

This is so amazing. The UI is so clean and colorful and nostalgic. The game is fun, right amount of weird and challenging. The music and speed are chill and enjoyable. This thing feels so professional and good. I just had a delight playing it. I'm not so good at it only got to level 6 on my best run, but the whole time I was in that 'flow' state that you only get with the best games. Really great job!

Developer

Thank you so much for such inspiring feedback! The game is not so hard as seems at first glance. After several attempts you start to notice patterns and beating all levels is quite possible)

Crafting a strange wave is cool!

Developer(+1)

My favorite generated complex wave form is "cat ears" ^__^ )

Submitted(+1)

It’s a really polished little game! I really love the art style you went for, and the music ties everything together perfectly. Great job!

Some are way too hard...

Developer(+1)

Yeh, sometimes random generator creates too difficult waves forms and it's a bit luck factor.

very juicy wave merge game.
