Game description
Plunge into the crushing darkness of the unexplored ocean, armed only with your wits and a sonar helmet, you will explore the abyssal unknown in this immersive deep-sea survival experience. In this game, the player will navigate through pitch-black trenches, evade lurking terrors, and recover the lost golden compasses to find your way back to the surface.
Controls:
• WASD: Move through the depths
• Left Shift: Sprint with short bursts of speed
• Left Ctrl: Descend deeper
• Space: Ascend cautiously
• Esc: Pause your journey
• E: Toggle your diving helmet—when equipped, it emits a sonar wave that reveals nearby terrain and registers nearby objects as echoes on your radar.
Objective:
Survive the predatory horrors of the deep and locate all three golden compasses to escape the endless ocean.
Theme interpretation
The core mechanics are built around sonar waves—the player’s primary tool for perception. By emitting controlled waves, the player uncovers the environment and detects nearby creatures and objects, all represented as returning signals on the radar. This creates a loop of sending out waves and interpreting their echoes—transforming the abstract concept of “waves” into a vital, interactive lifeline in an otherwise invisible world.
Highlights of this game: Deep-Sea Mystery & Psychological Horror
Set in crushing darkness where sounds and signals are your only guides, the game blends exploration with persistent dread. Unseen creatures respond to your waves, and distorted sonar pings often hint at threats before they’re visible. The sound design—from the hum of the helmet’s sonar to the distant echoes of creatures—builds tension through auditory suggestion, making the experience optimized for headphones. Wearing them fully immerses you in a 360° soundscape where every ripple, echo, and whisper becomes palpable, pulling you deeper into the vulnerability and suspense of the abyss.

Very atmospheric and scary. But it's unclear what to do in the game and there are instant kills at the beginning.
I could only find two golden compasses :<
I like the mood of this game, very mysterious and unsettling, with all these hungry sharks waiting to take a bite.
The radar seems to only be usable to detect dangerous objects that could kill you without being seen, as the radius is way too limited. Together with such restricted visibility, it renders even the starting room as an endless maze, where you can spot the golden compass by pure luck.
Nice interpretation of the theme, though, good job!
Thank you for your interest. We hadn't anticipated that anyone would locate both compasses without a fully developed guidance system. Your achievement is greatly appreciated and serves as a source of motivation for us.
It was hard to figure out how to move. Even harder to stay alive for more than a few seconds. It's unclear what to do.
Thank you for your suggestion. Due to time constraints, we were unable to complete the tutorial system within the game itself. The specific gameplay mechanics and objectives will therefore be detailed on the game's web introduction page.
