I like this luigi's mansion top down thing idea, just needs more objectives and visual cues and it should play much better. I like what I played!
I like the idea in your head. The shaking detail on the stage is sweet. You could improve the graphics while drawing the monster.
You could add a scoring system or some logic you have in mind.

It’s really fun once you understand it. Maybe it would be nice to highlight the doors more after clearing a room.
I had a fun time playing! Chasing after ghosts and switching colors was always a thrill. Great job!
Its a cool concept, but it took me a while to get used to the control. Overall well done.
I like the concept that you were going for here. With a bit more time and polish, I think this game has potential. I was initially confused because I seemed to be sucking up ghosts but it didn't seem to be doing anything. Once I figured out that it was filling up the little bar in the corner, then I realized I had to be faster at sucking up the ghosts. I really liked the part with the purple ghost a couple of rooms into the mansion. A small suggestion that I would make is to add a very small light around the player when in the dark room. I didn't realize that I was still in control of the player right after the room went dark and I had thought that I died. The light that I am thinking of is something like Mario Wii (if you have played that). In that game, there is a small light around Mario when in the dark. Not really enough to navigate by but enough to stumble around until you can find a real light to light up the area.
