Game description
An action RPG that I made with my dad. This is our second year participating in this game jam!

Theme interpretation
We used an ocean theme (island, shipwreck, etc) and water magic. One of the main levels is on the ocean floor.

I like Zelda so I like this. Lots of fun and well-done. I'm going to comeback and play more.

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you like it! I'm a Zelda fan too!

this is some crazy effort, great usage of the theme and the fact you did it as a family project gives an extra layer of coolness to it. great job, i'm speechless by the amount of work was put into this.

It was fun; you didn't include too much dialogue to make it boring, you struck a good balance. After that intro, I didn't expect to encounter those slime monsters. Moving around by clicking with the mouse was also fun. Congratulations, a great result!

Fun little RPG, didn't encounter any glitches or bugs.

Some feedback:

- clicking to move seemed quite a bit faster than walking with the arrow keys - think it would be better if speed was the same through both methods of movement

- the unicorn was pretty hard to fight, also, I ran out of spells during the fight but didn't know why as the spell resources weren't represented in the UI

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I actually fixed the movement speed issue but didn't want to edit the game during voting.

You should never run out of spells. That definitely sounds like a bug we'll have to track down!

Impressive! Quite hard to believe someone made a RPG for Game Jam in this short time.

Developer

Thanks, we've had lots of practice and the engine we're using helps a lot 🙂

A RPG game? I'd like spend some time to play it, but I hope I can download it and play it while offline.

Developer(+2)

We can definitely add a downloadable version. Thank you for the suggestion!

Good RPG, looks like a game ready for release

Great RPG with a compelling story and clever theme usage. Well done to both of you!

I made an rpg maker game too but made my own assests

Developer

Kudos to you! We want to do this too but felt like we didn't have time. Next game jam hopefully!

Wow cool game! I can tell you both put a lot of effort into it!

Would be great to add WASD keyboard controls for the movement!

Now off to find that unicorn...

Developer

Thanks for the suggestion!
