The topic is quite heavy, but the writing is amazing. The part about the deadly mint-green light is haunting and vividly described. The fact that you can continue past the follower succumbing to it, which leads to a different ending that is not quite failure, but also not a success, is good. The way the image changes throughout the story is also a nice touch. Great entry!
Awesome style and world building! You clearly took a lot of time and effort into this story and the font, graphics, and music really help elevate everything into a complete, impactful game. A delightful play through thank you!
Really enjoyed the pacing off the world building!
Felt very organic and grounded!!
superb writing, i love how much emotion, character, and worldbuilding this conveys with simple words. this really felt like a novella and i think the end will stay with me for a while. conceptualizing resilience as something connected to essentially dehumanizing yourself is compelling to me.
The writing is excellent. It's gripping, oozing with detail and though the satire is pretty on-the-nose it's also really funny. This one straddles the line between game and novella. I'm not the biggest fan of multiple fail states personally, and maybe getting back could have been streamlined somehow. On the other hand, replaying to reach a satisfying conclusion is definitely in the spirit of the theme of resilience
Great writing, great worldbuilding. As a US military veteran, you certainly captured authentic military social dynamics. Great job on the general vibe and voice. I had to replay a few times to get past that first choice.
Oh. My. God. The writing is sooo good! ๐
The world is so immersive, the characters are told so wonderfully, the action and references back-and-forth โ Amazing! I found myself reading and reading... the very pretty, minimalistic art on the side (to give more room for reading) was also great! ๐
My fav game so far! ๐
(and I'm not saying this just because I also made a game about soldiers in a trench, honestly!)
