In the Blind (#2) "Who?"

Far shorter than our usual posts, this ItB marks the lowering of one flag and the raising of another.

For 12 years, Project Ulysses has worked on an array of things, each united by a name tied to a mainline narrative. At the time, this mainline narrative was known internally as 'Ulysses'.

As with all things, time and experience have forced our team and its work to adapt and grow over the years. As Splendor & Misery entered development, it became clear that our name and emblem no longer reflected the vision we now had of the universe. We kept it for a time, but have spent the better part of the last 2 years trying to come to a consensus on the direction to take it. In retrospect, we feel a bit like the studio tasked with redesigning the Pepsi logo that graphed out geomagnetic forces and atoms, but nevertheless, after an endless number of internal discussions and revisions, we’ve arrived at a new identity that we’re satisfied with. We hope it’ll meet our work where it stands. Going forward, Project Ulysses will be known as Popular Front.

It’s only fitting that these changes are made a few weeks before the relaunch of S&M… be on the lookout for a free demo of its (re-re-)release on Tuesday, December 30th

Anyone fancy a visit to the coast?

The work that has gone into S&M in the last year has been staggering, but I won't for a second act as though it's right to have taken this long. As much as I wish I could snap my fingers and have it in your hands, reality (and QA testing) tends not to let it work out that way. All the same, I'm genuinely very happy with where we've gotten it since you all last saw it. Hopefully it'll exceed your expectations!

Want to support our (often indulgent) work?

We have a Patreon where we are far more active and post plenty of things for free!

(You could've seen these sneak peeks and more far earlier!) ^^

Got a question, comment, or concern? Our new email is: pplr.frnt@gmail.com

(We can still be reached at our old one, of course!)

‘Til next time!

Sounds cool! Also got me quite excited for Splendor and Misery's rerelease. Thanks for all the work.
