Solid premise and execution, I also stayed in the same line (knowing from previous line waiting experience at events heh). Written very well and being able to choose the memories as you go is a nice touch.
Thank you!
Letting a player "build" some parts of the character is a nice and engaging narrative tool. I stubbornly stayed in one line and succeeded :)
Thank you!
This was really hard to rate! I see what you were going for and I hope you finish this after the rating period is over.
Thank you! I’m definitely finishing this (once I clear my back log :P)
Clever use of the theme! Strong writing. You do a lot of character while keeping it very neutral, so that any player might easily put themselves in the protagonists shoes, appealing on behalf of their loved one.
I wish we got more (which you answered in a previous comment), but 72 hours is 72 hours.
Thank you!
Good interpretation of the theme. It does feel a bit incomplete, like it's not the whole story. And the gameplay could be more developed. But I really did like the storytelling, and felt moved emotionally. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I did feel like I had bitten off more than I could chew, considering the time limit of the jam. I have an outline of what the later 'trials' will be and how the story ends, all along the theme of 'Persistence' but I wasn't able to make time to finish it. Lesson learned for the next jam!
