I had a good time with this. The customisation of the organism was great and the number of parts and upgrades allows for lots of varied runs. I had a great time zooming around and unlocking things after a few upgrades.

I will admit I was quite overwhelmed by the UI. It might have helped to be able to show and hide each section. I also think the sequence of input to take over the host was too fast but I'll admit I am not good at that kind of quick time event. It would of been nice to have some audio in this too.

Altogether, this is an excellent game. Oh and the intro cutscene was a fun opener!

I always loved the cell stage of Spore and got bored on the rest, and this feels like a rogue-lite version of it, which is a very cool idea. Had fun, but felt like a bit guidance was needed on some stuff, its a bit confusing right now and understanding what does what is a trial and error, but loved it and its completely normal for a jam game that is made in one week. Its also crazy that you made so many parts/upgrades in such a short time!

Cool concept! Reminded me of the Spore cell stage.

Impressive! took me a while to get the hang of how to actually play and what the objective was, but once i got it it was really cool! my only gripe would be that the UI is very busy and not very clear, otherwise amazing job on this! well done!

Also at one point I destroyed the main brain by accident and soft locked myself, that might be a little tweak to make someday!

I liked the photorealism here you implemented this much better than what we tried to do. I actually made something similar called broomba battles (like battlebots) so I was quite familar with what to do here. The coder made it very seemless for intuitive ui here which was great. If you plan on continuing development i recommend you taking a look at mine and hopefully it may help you get more ideas for future development of this if you so desire to continue. I think these are games that would benefit a lot with mutliplayer/async multiplayer if you decide to take the leap of committing to it. Obviously 1 week jam for mulitpalyer is quite a challenge so gladly you have no deadline as well. I think a hover tool tim for what certain thing do would help a lot too or like a tutorial session where it pops up tips and guided recommendations for the first fight.

This is a crazy ambitious project for 1 week. I was not very good at it. But I can see the idea. A great spore cell feel which was the best part of that game. Neat game. Good job.

So ambitious and impressive for a game jam! Love the additions of individual part survival and the second life mechanic to the joy of that iterative spore cell stage-esque builder/battler. I didn't seem to have any audio or music sadly!
