I'd love to see you explore this game more!  The presentation is nice and clean, and I like how the map is randomized each time!  You've got great sounds for each action as well.

I think the first thing you should add is some kind of explanation on  what makes each tower different.  I assume the second one is shooting two bullets, and the last one may deal more damage because it's slower.

This looks like it may be your first game jam submission, great job and keep it up!

I'm not a big fan of tower defense as a genre over all and doing it blind doesn't really do it any favours. A neat idea though but it is indeed kinda lacking on difficulty scaling and probably different levels. You only really need few turrets and the game seems to go on forever with those.

Nice dual take on the theme. Enemy waves and sonar waves o reveal stuff. Though technically there wasn't enemy waves but just a single endless wave.

Looks good with a nice cohesive style. Too bad you weren't able to take full advantage of eveything you had created. Looking at the screenshots, I guess there are multiple levels. Random maybe? Shame really that such a minor thing as adding level changes and increasing enemy spawns was keeping this from being a more full enjoyable game.

I guess the game isn't meant to be played for as long as I've had it running now since the music stopped too without looping. The sound effect gets also rather irritating with so much repetition.

Anyways, good job! 👍 Hope you at least learned something this jam, maybe to manage your time better and scope the game more appropriately.

Cool idea. I like unconventional tower defenses. I think the main challenge for designing this would be to find why these two mechanics are needed. Like what does seeing enable the player to do. I felt like it was fun to reveal the map but random turrets were basically fine and since turrets are fixed, past a certain point I didn't really need to see much. I like the idea and I like the innovation and the sound was nice and the art was clean. I think it has some real cleverness in it!

Very unique concept. It would be interesting to see what you could do if you explored it further!

love the theme interpretation, you had a great idea for a game, and given the time i think it's a very decent result. i placed one turret by the door by mistake, that made the game super easy but the concept is really cool

The gameplay is interesting, and the concept of sound waves is very well done!

really cool interpretation on a tower defense!

I found I could just place turrets randomly and do very well without using the sonar. I think it’s a cool idea though, would like to see it balanced better.

An actually wave system is in my to-do list! I just realized after submitting that i accidentally made the game too easy :(
