puhpuh I loved the sound effects lol! My little guy was so cool, loved that I could shoot through enemies too, combos! Really cute and fun game, good job you guys~! Also that frog had a vendetta against me! I will win next time haha.

Developer

We are proud to say the enemy sound effects were all made by our great programmer/clearly future voice actor's mouth xD
Thank you for the lovely comment!

Really appreciate the effort of combining both the theme (even while not being mandatory!) and the limitation. Loved the art style too.

Developer

Thank you for the comment!
It's funny because when we were searching for gamejams and found this one, we only inicially saw the theme, so all of our ideas revolved around creation! It was only when the limitation was revealed that we thought "okay, how to implement the dice in here?"

I really like the art style! Would be great if there is background music, but overall I like this game!

Developer

Thank you!! Honestly we tried to put BGM right at the end of the jam, but couldn't find something that wouldn't annoy players after 10 seconds 馃槄

Really enjoyed this!! Love the art style and I think you really nailed them limitation, I did get a little op after getting the vampire leech thing but it was still fun :>

Developer

Yeah... The difficulty was really unbalanced but at the same time I was slightly afraid of making the game hard.

In any case, thanks a lot for the feedback

I feel this has a lot of potential, good art, many upgrades.

It needed more juice and difficulty to click for me personally.

Especially music and sound.

It is a good jam project! The UI is really well made.

Developer

Thanks for the comment!

To be realistic the difficulty was one of those things that requires way more testing than we had time for :P

But thanks for the feedback, really appreciated!

If you haven鈥檛, check this game from the game jam:

It hits the right spot for challenge. I hope I am being constructive. You are doing well! Getting difficulty balanced is one of the many different arts that go into game making! Personally, I would have taken this project and add juice and balance difficulty as practice if it was mine.

What an amazingly fun game! It stinks you guys don't have more visibility because this is just great. The art style and theme fit so well together and the entire game feels so cohesive. I love survivor likes and this does not disappoint! You guys should be so proud of this. Really great entry for your second jam!

Developer

Thanks you so much! Even if we aren't getting that much visibility, for us, the visibility we are getting is already enough to keep us motivaded!馃挭

The game is incredibly impressive for a 72-hour game jam ! The survivor-like mechanics fit the limitation really well, and the visual style is so original, cute, and beautiful. I absolutely loved seeing my little character change with each power-up !

It鈥檚 a bit sad that downloadable games tend to get fewer views and therefore fewer votes than browser games (I know that struggle too), because this one really deserves more visibility.

Amazing work, truly !
(And +1 because the dog鈥檚 name is Kuma <3)

Thank you for all those kind words :') this is the second ever jam we did and we are glad to have found this community, and will definitely be doing more!

As for the Web version, we didn't think to do it at first but we'll probably update the submission with a WebGL version since everyone does it :D

(And yes, Kuma is a certified amazing name <3)

Honestly, as the programmer, when we finished the game, I looked back and thought "Wow, I may have not had any rest, but I coded all this!". So yeah, your comment means a lot! Thank you!

PS: We just added a webGL build so... maybe it gets some more visibility

And yes, the name Kuma is just amazing

Dude, it sucks that no one appreciated your game! In my opinion, it reminds me of Draw a Stickman: EPIC.

Developer

Thank you so much!! Honestly when thinking about what we'd be doing for the art direction I just went "doodle art is faster!" So it didn't even cross my mind other references like that game but you have unlocked a lot of memories with that title!

Developer

This was our second gamejam, but it was the first that was open for everyone. It the feedback means a lot! Thank you very much!
