Having a little trouble. Pressing Space pulls up a menu with controls, and looks like it will let me place something, but it won't. Looking at your screen shots and I think the game is too big for my computer screen (1366x768). This is what my screen shows.

Nice work on that building system, feels very solid and works great. Somehow my PC couldn't handle the game's FPS so I kept getting jeeted out of the box xD Nice amount of items and I didn't try the uploading of custom interior but that sounds really cool!

i know the theme is one room but this game would work great if there was more then one room

also some sound would be great as well

just those two things and i think you would have a game that i think you would find on steam or somthing like that

very good job!

The game has a decorating mechanic that can definitely be expanded even more (though it's already quite extensive). I really enjoyed designing my own little apartment, though it’s clear I have no talent for decoration—if I worked as an interior designer, I’d be fired on my first day, haha!

The possibilities are so wide that a tutorial would be essential to help players understand how everything works and which buttons trigger actions (and what each button actually does). At first, I knew what I was supposed to do, but I didn’t know how to do it, which made the experience a bit confusing in the beginning.

But once I got the hang of it, I was able to create some pretty cool things. I wouldn’t say it turned out super stylish, though—like I said, I'm terrible at decorating, haha—but I was still really happy with the results.

For some reason, my computer really struggled to run the game, even though other games that seemed more demanding ran a bit better. The FPS ranged between 13 and 15, so I suspect some memory leak might be going on. It’d be good to check that out later if you plan to continue with the project.

It’s a shame that downloadable games often get fewer reviews because yours is great. Congratulations on the game, and I wish you the best of luck in the jam!

Cool ā€œbuild a roomā€ idea! I ended up making my own little Sims-style room where I had everything I needed. I even walled off the toilet area with tall wardrobes and set up my gaming corner.

I didn’t realise there was a painting option at first—I had no idea how to use it and only discovered the menu after pressing all the buttons.

Then I saw there was an option to create a pool… and I was devastated when I couldn’t actually build one. So naturally, I made it my mission to build a pool anyway.

I also discovered the player could build on top of themselves, so I hatched an escape plan!

Step 1: Delete the window. 🪟 Step 2: Build objects around yourself so physics can’t push you away from the window. 🧱 Step 3: Enjoy the view while falling. šŸ‘‡ Step 4: Build the pool—even though the grid is stuck to the room, so enjoy your floating pool. šŸ¤½ā€ā™‚ļø

Funny enough, I enjoyed figuring out the game—first by making a nice room, and then by breaking it afterwards. šŸ™ƒ

Well done Dennis Gaming Studio!

I grad you enjoyed the game. What did you play the Window build or the web build, web build? The Web Build is the most resent one I got the painting tool working, I mostly worked on it late that why it unfinished.

I played on the Windows build, guess that makes the most sense why I didn’t see it 😁

Very cool! Putting rooms together in games scratches a very particular itch and this is no exception.
