nice effort, game was pretty interesting.. but yeh, game is not 1-bit and using the CRT effect breaks the rules of the jam, were not gonna "disqualify" ur game and well let u keep ur ranking as to not waste ur efforts... but your game will not be eligible for judges picks. hope to see you next jam and do try to stick to the 1-bit rule 🤠

cool little idea! i really liked the art and the music and the whole vibe in general and I really like the idea of souls having to write poetry to get back to the mortal realm. sucks that the CRT effect added extra colours cause I quite liked that effect personally :(

The dog made the music ???? :o

Can you pat its head for me ? :D

hahaha sure!!

well, the best thing about it was the rhyming dialogue for me - while I don't frown upon AI use, still can't really weight it as positive as I wanted too.

Also the chromatic aberration puts some real strain on the eyes for reading some of the texts - not a huge fan of that.

Otherwise, great music and art. I also like the papers please like game play. Especially stamping approval/ disapproval has a nice weighty feeling to it.

cool game!

thanks for you comment!!

Great game very interesting, but also very shor, i can see the fame getting more difficult while you play it, but now is very easy, also the effects are going to desqualify your game because you can only have two colours at the same time in the screen. Great job!

You gain more points for guessing correct than failing so I found the best strategy was to just spam either yes or no, statistically, you will win. Also, I think the CRT filter means the game will be disqualified.

Very nice art and concept
I felt like a teacher correcting copies
Could have used more levels or criteria
Very much into that CRT effect but i don't think it fits the 1 Bit Jam Rules
Good work!

43 seconds before deadline submit is crazy. I loved the music. I'm not big on the VFX, it made reading very uncomfortable, and you never want that in a text-based game. Not that the text in my game is that much easier to read anyway.

Cool shader but it puts a ton of extra colors out. I dug the art and  overall feel and it was an interesting game concept, but I think the effect detracted from the readability of the text, my eyes felt fatigued quickly.

Very fun, interesting and challenging, but I think the cool TV effect makes extra colors.

"An insanely beautiful use of the camera — that effect makes it feel like you're watching an old TV, very atmospheric. As for the game itself, I think my rating might be subjective, because I know English very poorly and can’t fully understand the depth of the writing."

dont worrie, my english es very poorly too jajaj

The CRT effect introduces extra colors in violation of the 1-bit rule.

This is a fun concept! Especially for one like myself who absolutely hates reading poetry, it became a contest of “how can I efficient judge the poems without having to actually read them?” :D

Would be nice to report the score on the “you got revived” screen. Without that, we’re kind of left hanging.
