The atmosphere of this game is so think and foreboding. The descriptions are so spooky and strike a great balance between between horror and the game play necessity of clear traits. i think it feels more like a real logic puzzle than it did last time i played this. if i had to add anything it might be more proofreading and stylization in the prose. i love the new ending as well.

The new ending I got was so cool. I liked that I was able to study the cryptids myself. I think that gave me a feeling of personal agency. Like, why wouldn't I try to do research on these guys? They are way too important to just hand over mindlessly for some money. Especially since I could become way MORE rich by studying them myself. The only critique I have is the heavy text wall in the beginning. The rest was more concise imo. I think breaking the information up would be really helpful. Great job guys <3
YOU GUYS DID SO GOOD!!! I really love the implementation of Foraged Legends throughout the whole town and their subtle presence everywhere, and the new ending is a great addition! It did feel like a couple details about cryptids that were relevant to the guide may have gotten lost and could maybe be hinted at if you need to take extra action to confirm them, like I noticed that there isn't really any indication that the infinite centipede has its two modes of direction unless you choose observe instead of throw bait, and I feel like only getting one of those pieces of information makes it a little unbalanced. That was really the main critique I noticed, though, all the updated writing flows beautifully and I feel like you really expanded the world! Good job!!
I'm shocked with how ambitious project turned out! The randomized hints really add a lot of depth and difficulty on repeated playthroughs! It took me ~4 runs for me to get all 3 cryptids right! The difficulty is a bit of a double edged sword when it comes to appeal, as it made me a bit frustrated, but I think it works here!
Wow! I'm really impressed y'all managed to make code that randomized the three cryptids necessary each playthrough! I know there were concerns about it being too difficult or too easy to figure out the cryptids that should be captured but I feel like ya'll found a great harmony between the two. I also like how the ending was changed from just being able to set them free to also being able to study them, a nice little twist.
My only constructive comment is to maybe cut down on the descriptions. I feel as though there was a lot of information for me to keep track of so at times, it was a bit confusing. If your intention was to create a challenging puzzle game, then maybe it's okay that the game is set up that way.
I absolutely love the new ending! Being able to study them for myself, but more-so the idea that I have found my true profession is super cool -- I feel like it could be a great lead-up to a sequel in theory. My main critique is with the cryptid description of teeth and the manipulation. I chose the right creature, but it was more through process of elimination as opposed to actually knowing it. Besides that, amazing job, and I really enjoy the updates to this game.
