This was fun! Great enemy variation, an interesting item mechanic, and the simplicity of the level design was surprisingly effective. The artwork was pleasant too. I really liked the idea of seeking out certain enemies to kill me and gain some of their powers to help me progress.

Unfortunately the player health bar didn't work for me. Also, it would have helped to have an indication of how many items corrupt the player and end the game. And while I liked their freeze ability, being hit by a snowman felt really unfair as they will freeze you again before you can can move if you are hit just once. Lastly, I was expecting the items to provide more power than they did because the player felt very underpowered compared to the difficulty of the enemies.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed playing this game! Nice job!

Enjoyed how the game made me use the terain to dodge attacks. Wasn't entirely sure what the items did or how that mechanic worked

Love the concept! Would maybe have liked some way to know what each item did because I couldn't find any and basically guessed my way through. I think the level generation can do with a little improvement, I got stuck a few levels in with the ending locked behind a wall. Well done still, its fun to play around and figure out how to get through and when to get killed to get an upgrade!

Great use of textures and cool sprites. Felt a bit slow in terms of the action. But the bones are here for a fun little shoot em up. Good job. 

Art looks nice. I like the idea but had troubles playing when the level would randomly start.
