game looks cute, could use a bit more clarification on what ur supposed to do 🐭 regardless exploring was pretty interesting
It took me a bit to work out what I was supposed to do. I think part of the issue is that the buttons are very small and hard to read. I also couldn't work out how to nap, nor what the significance was. I walked on the bed but couldn't see any buttons to nap. In the end I just guessed the second and third items.
The colour scheme and music fit the theme really well, though. Could do with some more polish but the vibe was great!
Nice concept! I like the colours and the art, and having the choose the right offering based on the prompts was a nice mechanic. Could do with a bit more polish but I can see the vision!
Our coder is a dummy head and needs to do better polishing for sure. Tunnel vision worked against us here, as we knew exactly how to play our game. The problem was everyone else didn't haha. We also appreciate the art compliment!
I like how there's a little stealth section and moveable crowd in one room. That one room seems like the only obstacles in the game, but all are fine. And I think I've got all the endings.
Thanks for taking the time to play our game! This was our first game jam and we learned a lot. Empty-ish rooms are some feedback we will consider for the next jam. Also, kudos for doing all the endings!
Very nice art and sound and theme implementation!
But yeah, figuring out what exactly to do there is not obvious from the first glance.
Good work.
Thank you! Yeah, we definitely could have improved on gameplay clarity, e unfortunately waited too late to playtest so by the time we figured out the issue, it was too late to fix it :'). Thank you for the feedback regardless, and for playing the game!
I was first taken aback a bit, by another "bring item to customer" game - but yours plays very different from the others I've played so far.
Going through a stealth section and picking items by just some keyword description is an interesting spin. It took me a couple of attempts to get, that the guys on the pews were actual obstacles. At the start I just tried to speak to everyone, getting I guess reprimanded by the cult leader again and again. (This part of the dialogue maybe should've been clearer in that it's a punishment you try to avoid)
I do think it's interesting thematically to increase the difficulty of the stealth section by the room filling up constantly.
Also really nice music and atmosphere.
Hello! Thank you so much for the feedback! Yeah, unfortunately we noticed a bit too late that we didn't do a very good job making in game "how's", "who's" and "why's" very clear to the player. Definitely something we could have done better. Thank you so much!!
great game! that damn head preacher is so annoying! chasing you every second. i like the fact that you can talk your way out of things though and not just immediately lose.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! And yes haha, instant death can be a frustrating mechanic, and we wanted the player to have a chance to make mistakes and not be instantly penalized and have to restart. Thank you so much for playing, and also for the feedback!
