Nice work with PICO-8! I think it's a great start
If I'm reading into the game correctly, there's kind of a "space renegade" thing going on with taking missions and tracking targets which I find very cool. It's really easy to get hit by drones when they spawn in front of you, though, and the controls are spread out a bit far. The whole game looks really good nonetheless!
I liked flying around in space finding signals. But when enemies appeared, I was confused about how to fight.
Liked the ping and echo concepts, but didn’t understand how to attack/destroy the turrets following me. I can see why this is more of a demo rather than a full game. Great work regardless!
Also, is there really no audio, since there are audio settings (I pressume the whole settings/pause thing comes from lua/pico-8).
This was a really great little arcade play, wish there was more of it / a bit of story framework burrito to wrap it in. Nice work!
